Therapy is about transformation and improving our experience of life. Struggling in life is difficult and can result in depression and anxiety. Experiences that contribute to them are usually related to sudden and unexpected changes in life, relationship issues, low self-esteem, ADHD/ADD or living in the past and worry about the future.

We often experience grief after unexpected loss. It may be the death of a loved one or a beloved pet, a job loss, financial losses, the end of a relationship, or other experiences of loss.

Other factors may include workplace issues, unreconciled pain from incidences with a significant other or family member, perfectionism, trauma, spiritual issues, emotional, verbal, and physical abuse, parenting skills, and our physical health. As a Holistic Pastoral Counselor, I am well prepared to work with any of these factors and others. As a Certified Teletherapist, I can provide services to anyone in Virginia through a HIPPA compliant, secured website.

In addition to providing psychotherapy, I am also an approved supervisor for Residents and Interns. Fees for supervision are negotiable. I also provide pastoral care supervision for pastors, deacons, and other caregivers related to the church.
